Phil Pantano founded Pantano & Associates in 2009. Throughout his nearly 20-year career, he has worked with a diverse group of organizations as both a consultant and an in-house executive, giving him a wealth of experience to draw upon in assisting our firm’s clients.

Prior to starting Pantano & Associates, Phil was the Director of Public Relations & Public Affairs for Seneca Gaming Corporation. In that role, he led the public and government communication strategy for one of Western New York’s largest employers during a time of rapid growth. As the company’s primary spokesperson, Phil worked with reporters on a daily basis to position the company’s message, support its business objectives, promote its brand and protect its reputation. That is the same focus he brings to Pantano & Associates’ clients every day.

Among the many issues Phil has worked on are healthcare, economic development and construction projects, manufacturing, energy, and casino gaming. He has led the public relations strategy and outreach for construction projects totaling nearly $1 Billion. Throughout his career, Phil has been quoted and interviewed by numerous media outlets, including the Buffalo News, the New York Times, Fortune Magazine and the Associated Press to name just a few.
Phil is an active supporter of several community organizations. In 2012, he was honored with the 40 Under 40 award from Business First of Buffalo in recognition of his professional achievement and dedication to the community. Phil is a proud graduate of St. Bonaventure University and Canisius High School.
